Metalock Brasil obtained SBM certification (Shore Based Maintenance) from the manufacturer Jotron, and is entitled, according to the MSC/Circ.1039 Standards for the International Convention for the Safety of Human Life at Sea (SOLAS), to perform maintenance of EPIRB’s (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons) manufactured by Jotron.
In order to be in full compliance and meet the requirements for SBM certification by Jotron, Metalock Brasil attended to Jotron’s numerous requirements, which included participation in online training and investment in laboratory test equipment.
