A container vessel had problems with her main engine oil cooler and needed assistance.
Metalock Brasil technicians were called in for repairs and performed a temporary service on the cooler, as there were no spare parts available on board.
The work was carried out in Santos, where Metalock Brasil employees performed the overhaul of twelve pumps and electric motors, cleaning the auxiliary boiler tubes and in collaboration with the company/staff, carried out the overhaul of two cylinders on the main engine.
The service took around 45 days to complete and had a positive operational effect.
